Cervenka is so worth keeping around next year, he has his faults but he has fantastic offensive instincts and he's effectively only played half an NHL season.
I'd like to see him brought back on a similar contract that Joey MacDonald got, sub-million one year. It's worth the low risk and his cap hit wouldn't be the almost four million it is this season.

There is a good chance we go pointless through game 48.
After tonight there will be 3 teams within a point, and 1 win of leapfrogging us. I'd bet that 1-2 of them does. If all goes perfectly all three make it to 43pts and we are bumped up (down) to the 4th overall position.

We have no business being in any of these games. Being outshot 32-17 again tonight... were getting lucky at the worst possible time for such a critical time for this franchise.
Hold on Preds...

That's what happens when you give cervenka ice time... He scores goals... So frustrating Hartley doesn't play him... Reminds me of St. Louis stuck on the 4th line with no ice time...

Give him virtually the same contract. Incentive based and who cares about the cap hit. I think another year is worth it - between the blood clot, poor conditioning, transition to the NHL - to see what he can do with a proper start to a season.

I don't think he's even eligible for a similar contract since this one was technically an entry level deal.
9 goals in 39 games is pretty darn good considering all he's dealt with.

It doesn't seem like Bob Hartley likes him though. Being benched so fast earlier this season.

Well still good to see the fans showing up for a team that has done very poorly in a small market this year. Hard to dislike what Nashville has been able to do the last few years (minus this year). Just good to see a market coming together. Loud last minute here again
