The Facebook messenger app was updated with "Chat Heads" and it's a surprisingly well made update. Even if you're not one for fb messaging all there time, some of the newer devices like Note 2 and the HTC One allows you to use the messenger app as a substitute for your native text messaging app.

So far I've liked the transitions, easy switch between contact(s) I'm talking to, and how flexible it can be when moving around the "Chat head" bubble when the app is 'minimized'.

When you expand the chat head, it acts as an overlay so you could switch between apps, or respond without having your current app go into standby. That doesn't apply of course to full screen apps/games but still a nice touch.

It's missing other things like calling from the app, and distinguishing between texts/fb message tones.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Don't know if this is a must have app but the Carmageddon game is free for today on the Play store.

She's a good girl, and I'm not a welcome mat that she walks all over... just gotta type this out before I go and wash her car and pick up her dry-cleaning.

It's a good app to keep your business/data access/email/contacts apart from your personal email and anything else you have on your phone.

Can anyone recommend a good app for tracking real time flights? I need to see when a particular flight is coming in. Even get a reminder. Don't care if its free or paid.

1. Install TunnelBear and pretend you're in the states.
2. Go to music.google.com.
3. Complete Registation.
4. Turn off TunnelBear.

Google only checks your location during registration, so you only need the proxy for a few minutes.

Google Music All Access requires an American method of payment, however. The free cloud music storage service works fine, but the paid streaming needs a US credit card (or probably a Google Play gift card).

Does that method still work?

Looks like I'd need an american credit card to set it up.

All I did was change my Zip code to 90210 and hit save. It let me proceed. Google Music is the greatest thing to happen to music since Napster.

You should only need a credit card for Google Play Music All Access, and you should be able to opt out of that.

Thanks, didn't even need tunnelbear because I have unblock.us already set up on my computer. I signed up for All music as well at the same time. I just used my Canadian credit card and for zip code I used the numbers from my postal code and added a 05 at the end. EX: T1R0G5 became zip code 10505. Just make sure its a valid zip code first. Its the same way I signed up for Hulu+. You can make sure the zip code is valid at this link:

Do the charges go through with no problems when using a Canadian credit card? If so, I'll have to give this and Hulu+ a try.

Got it working, it was a problem on my end, that credit card had expired haha, oops. So far so good! It's still uploading my songs but I cleared over two gigs on my Nexus 4 and despite having plenty of room already it's great not to manage music. I'm more of a podcast listener then a music guy day-to-day on my phone so this is really fantastic.

Can anyone recommend a good (paid or free) calendar app? Has to have some good widgets. I'm using the onboard Google calendar. It's all good, just figured there might be something better or more details available.

I searched the Play store, but there are so many to pick from. I wanted to hear what you guys are using.
