Yep, that about covers it. This house is in Calgary.

According to Twitter, the rumours from just after the trade about Iginla putting his house up for sale are true.

Anyone got a bunch of money sitting around? Jarome Iginla's house is up for sale. #SOLD

I don't think that's Iginlas house. Conroy said Iginla had a pool. That listing does not state the home has a pool. Nice pad though.

Welcome to Calgary.
If you want to live in that area 2.5 Million is average. There are many homes in the 4 plus range in the mount royal and surrounding areas of Calgary.

Housing prices in Portland are a lot closer to what a lot of real estate prices are like in most North American cities. It's Calgary that's crazy out of whack, not the other way around.

I guess that pretty well means he doesn't plan on re-signing in Calgary as if that was still a possibility in his mind surely he would wait until the summer.

Because it's the best city in Canada to live in.

I can confirm with complete confidence that's his house. He very well could have property elsewhere in or around the city, though.

So? I don't want to open a can of worms but I'd take my $2.4 mill to Paradise Valley and get this - totally ridiculous how Calgary exploded, get that oil $$ eh?

My guess would be that he signs a deal with the Rangers (4 year deal), but only because Pittsburgh may not find the cap space for him.
Iggy might sign a 1 yr deal with the Flames in 4 years, after a cup win or two, to do a Lanny McDonald/Trevor Linden thing.

Huh? Lanny only had one stint in Calgary. He won the Cup here and retired right afterwards

I'll agree that real estate in Calgary is ridiculous. Better to rent a $3MM property for 5 years if you don't intend to stay.

I just meant Iggy might retire as a Flame, and possibly grow a massive 'stache.
