But its not fun sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours when you cut your finger off. Which happened to a friend of mine the other day.
Sure its nice not having to go bankrupt because I have a $50k medical bill, but the Canadian system needs a lot of help too.

How did you friend cut his finger off?

What is truly annoying is the "me" attitude...my injury is the most significant in ER and I want treatment immediately.
You were talking ER. Injuries are classified according to degree of severity. I highly doubt an injury to a finger would be priorized above a heart attack, traffic accident.....

Meh, a severed finger can survive up to 12 hours at room temperatures, and up to several days if kept on ice.
Do you think there were any serious cases ahead of your buddy, or were they just trying to milk him on parking?

I think what was meant by that is they had planned another attack but because of the shootout they were unable to proceed with it.

I think they thought that they wernt going to be idendified so quickly which is dumb because the younger idiot didnt even try to hide his face. They were going to plant the MIT bombs but the officer spooked them and they killed him and their plan derailed.

Don't put your severed finger on ice, keep it cool but certainly don't let it freeze. If it freezes, the tissue gets really damaged.

He has to be willing to write just like he has to be willing to talk. If he crosses his hands in front of his chest he may never have to write anything down.
They're probably going to have to make some kind of deal with the monster to get what they want.

Badly wounded Boston Marathon bombing suspect responding to questions
Quote:
Despite a serious throat wound that prevents him from speaking, the surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect is beginning to respond to questions from investigators, federal officials tell NBC News.
Nearly 48 hours after he was taken into custody following an intense gunbattle and manhunt, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was responding to a special team of federal investigators brought in to question him, mostly in writing because of the wound, according to the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Great news that this kid can speak. Clearly he is easily persuaded, I bet the FBI knows a lot more on how to work with these types of people and are able to convince him to provide information about those that basically ruined his life and and affected so many others.

I really think these guys are going to turn out to be more along the lines of Columbine/Sandy Hook type mass killers vs working for some global terrorist network. I guess we'll see how it plays out, their behaviour just strikes me that way.

Not sure how reliable.

The FBI was last night hunting a 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to the Boston marathon bomb brothers.
Police believe Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were specially trained to carry out the devastating attack.
More than 1,000 FBI operatives were last night working to track down the cell and arrested a man and two women 60 miles from Boston in the hours before Dzhokhar’s dramatic capture after a bloody shootout on Friday.
A source close to the investigation said: “We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google.
“They were too advanced. Someone gave the brothers the skills and it is now our job to find out just who they were. Agents think the sleeper cell has up to a dozen members and has been waiting several years for their day to come.”

Not that I really know what is going on, but based on what I have read online, one of the brothers attended terrorist training school and would then have had to of had someone convince him to get to that.
They are going to unravel quite the large network at their schools.
