Love how the Flames play well and the other team is just "sucking". Flames have played excellent defensively tonight.

Excellent?
The game started out with a crossbar, empty net shot for Perry and easy goal for Cogliano.
When the Ducks have tried they have created chances at will.
This has been a poor effort by both teams. Thank his the Ducks decided to take tonight off.

I think what he's saying is that since kipper refused these trades he should retire after the season, which is why he started off by saying he hopes kipper won't be back. I think most people can respect why he didn't approve a trade, in addition to his family issues it wouldn't be fair to the flames or the team that traded for him. However if he returns next year then that's kinda messed up.

All this is true but you can only play what is put put in front of you. However this is the difference between a cup contender and merely a play-off team, the hawks / pens would not come in with the 'no worries we'll win this at a canter' mentality and show how raw our team is right now.

And Hiller robbed a couple Flame players as well...it evens itself out.
Flames are playing excellent and I love it. I hope they win every game to end the year just to spite fans like you.

This may be how a group of people who come together to play a sport play a "team game"
Something that wasn't happening with three or five of the other guys on the roster. Just a thought. Kids look like they play together and not like a couple of individuals.

God, if the flames win tonight, the Oilers will be in a better drafting position than the FLAMES. Cripes, they've gone from 2nd worst team to 6th worst team before tonight's game. If they win, they're 8th worst. Not good for the future.

Because I love the team.
I was crazy about the team during the Sutter years and even understood what was going on in Young Guns era.
Sorry that watching a team being horribly mismanaged and playing like crap doesn't get my rise coloured glasses on to make up crisp to feel good about it.
Still love going to games and following this team and your constant whining about me can't change that. I just hope to see a contender and would like to see the team managed well rather than driven towards mediocrity.

He can have his accolades and standing ovation on the way out. Screw any player that thinks they`re bigger than the team.

I don't think the Ducks are a great team. They are the outlier this season as far as the advanced stats side of the things go. They consistently give up more shots than they generate but still win, which is uncommon.

I wish there could be two game threads from now on. One for the negative "fans" and one for the real fans. Getting so tired of reading the same bull#### cheering for losses.

My guess us when this team is floundering out of the play-ofs the next 5 years you will be just as upset about it as me.
I am at the game having a great time so you may be overrating the spite I feel.

Well, none of us are happy where the team is. You do realize it will take time though right? It will get better...eventually...I think...didn't I say the same thing back in 2000? Ahhh crap!!!!!
