They have someone "proned out" (?) in an alley in Watertown. Unsure if it's the suspect.

You might be right, but I have no idea how he would get out of the country.

You know, this guy just needs to find a hoarder's house to hide out in. They wouldn't find him for years.

Well I don't know if things changed but walking into Mexico was always pretty easy. Of course he would have to make it there somehow and if they were robbing a 7-11 I doubt he has much cash on hand.

However I'm sure the FBI/BP are smart enough not to just focus on the area they have been because of that chance of escape. It sounds like BP are going through every house and garage according to CNN.

Scanner seems to be preparing for press conference at 5 (ET) so maybe more information will be given.

best part in hilites:

Law enforcement asked the chain to keep some restaurants open in locked-down communities to provide hot coffee and food to police and other emergency workers, including in Watertown, the focus of the search for the bombing suspect. Dunkin’ is providing its products to them for free.

Tim's does the same thing.

I think cops get a free coffee/donut every time they are in there.

I know 7-11 does.

Always good to have cops who stop by randomly in the middle of the night.

They do that for all first responders I think (firefighters, paramedics, etc.).

Interestingly enough, when I worked in a pub in the UK we were explicitly told that we could not serve officers anything except water. Thought that was a bit strange. Not sure if it was law or a policy instituted by my dickhead manager.

Not to support what she is saying....but if I had just had one kid killed and the other being hunted down (likely to die)..... I would probably be saying some pretty loopy things too.

Starbucks also gives them their orders for free. I had cops behind me in a Starbucks Drive Thru, I told the cashier to tack on their order on mine, and he said thats really nice of me. Then told me after I paid that they get their stuff for free.

At least the cops waved to say thanks as they drove by.

I get why the father and mother wouldn't want to believe it especially with the things they say living in Chechnya. I just wasn't sure if that was the first time his mother had spoke about this.

Father is going to do an interview with CNN soon. That should be interesting!

I think the parents' comments must be on a loop by now. I would hope that the family is being left alone to a degree, by now, no matter how they feel about any of this.
