Various reports from Twitter say that Boston PD and Mass PD have asked for scanners to be disabled to keep a virtual scene.

Seems like this should have been done awhile ago when they figured he was listening in and keeping a step ahead.

I hate to be the guy defending CNN, but a "serious" (and again, I hate to call CNN serious) news service has to have some sort of vetting process before putting something on the air. The internet just throws everything against the wall that it can, disregarding whether it is real or not. It's a lot easier to get something right when you have no accountability. I mean just read through this thread and see how much junk there is that people have thrown out.
