Montreal only had three games in the final ten days. They were unable to keep the division lead losing two games to beatable teams as Ottawa stepped up and won out their final four games of the season to regain the lead after losing a blowout to Montreal 7-1.

As such, I have no nominations this week. Just poked my head in to recap the end of the season and nominate a poster.

The devils has 3 games this week going 2-1.

Goaltender: Corey Crawford was 2-0 in his 2 starts and was perfect in 16 mins of relief after Lack got hurt. He stopped 71/75 shots for a .946 save % and just under 2.0 GAA.

Rookie: Brayden Schenn had 1 goal, a game winner, was +1, had 4 shots, 6 hits, 2 shots blocked and 2 take aways and was the third star in 1 game.

D-man- Duncan Keith had another strong week leading the Devils in ice time. He had 2 assists, 13 hits, 10 shots, 9 shots blocked, and 2 takeaways during our 3 games.

Unsung: 61 OV Dman Kurtis Foster was a rock for the Devils. He had 3 Assists in his 3 games, was +3, had a fight, 3 hits, 2 shots, 2 shots blocked and 4 take aways.

Grabner had a solid week, scoring the game-winner in both Leafs wins and leading the team in points. He also led the team in shots (32).

Horak led the team in goals (3), plus/minus (+4) and hits (15).

Giguere was especially sensational at the beginning of the week, earning three 1st star honours in a row.

Corey Perry 3GP 2G 3A 5PTS + 5 7 hits 1st star and 3rd star honors - Perry was a beast all week playing strong two way hockey while putting up points and piling up hits.

Rookie:
Max Pacioretty 3GP 3G 0A 3PTS, 2 GWG's 15 shots, 1st star and 2nd star. Pacioretty provided clutch scoring 2 game winners in just 3 games while piling up the SOG's from the 3rd line. Pacioretty's strong finished allowed him to claim stake to the rookie point race finishing with 65pts.

Unsung/Goalie:
Ray Emery 2-0 1.50 gaa .959 save percentage, 1st star - The Pens wanted to make sure Price was rested for the playoffs. Emery allowed them to do that and not miss a beat. He was unbeaten in 2 games while stopping 70/73 shots he faced.
