Nick Larson, a guy we drafted out of the USHL in 2008. He then went on to play College at Notre Dame.
4th rounder
He's not in the Flames plans. He's signed an ATO with the Peoria Rivermen since finishing his college career in the last couple weeks.

I can't seem to get the you tube link to display proper.

Did he end up getting a penalty for that hit? The video cuts off before they make the calls..

Good!!! We might see him and Cundari play before the end of the season. Want to see how this guy can play in the NHL. If he can play close to the way his dad used to play I will be happy. It would be awesome if he's much better than his dad.

Anthony Mantha is a legacy player as well, his grandad played 10 years in the NHL. He also had 3 great uncles play in the NHL (2 had very long careers and the other played just 2 games)including Jean Pronovost who was the last captain of the Atlanta Flames.

The mods should sticky something like this and update it on an ongoing basis. The amount of confusion this list causes posters seems to be an ongoing issue.
Also, this thread could include information about ELC's, such as how the length of contract varies depending on the age of the player at the time the contract is signed.
Lots of confusion/misinformation being spread on here that is easily correctable by a stickied thread at the top of the forum.

Although not under contract Karri Ramo is our NHL property. I'm not sure if he'll be a RFA or an UFA this summer.
