Well the internet findings have already identified the hats of both suspects in under 10 minutes, which is usefull information because they were likely purchased recently, perhaps even at the same time. Another photo of the first bomber has also just been found

It goes without saying, but I want to see video of him putting the bag down.

The reason you have all these "conspiracy" questions around is because of a corrupt government that most Americans don't trust (eg. Iraq war, Fast&Furious etc.)

Only pathetic, weak people are "frightened" by other perspectives whether it is right or wrong.

It should be pretty concerning when you have a government that exploits any tragedy to grab more power from the people in the name of "security". What now? Naked body scanners/TSA on every corner?

I would say CNN/MSNBC are doing a fine job of scaring Americans by speculating that some lone wolf tea party conservative is hiding behind every corner with a bomb.
Thats what I mean, its creepy when you think about it.

I'm sure the FBI had no idea that was a Bridgestone Golf hat

I don't mind being in the minority. Truth is not a democracy.

I enjoy other perspectives. It beats the lowbrow partisanship talk that typically goes on here and elswhere.

Regardless, more eyes on the clothes these guys are wearing the better. Next to be identified hopefully are the backpacks, shoes etc.

What exactly is so invasive about current security screening? I hear people moan about it, but seriously what's the big deal? You stand in a tube for 3 seconds with your arms up. What an invasion.

The TSA has some serious flaws with how they conduct searches, but the general security scheme is hardly trampling on any rights.

I dont usually go on reddit, but did just after the press conference. Its amazing at which the speed these guys churn up new pictures and info (ie the hats, backpack brands, other pics of the suspects).

No doubt in my mind they're giving at least a small amount of help to the investigation, fake suspects aside.

I am sorry, but you of all people, accusing anyone of being lowbrow.... is rich. The second anyone supports Alex Jones they automatically give up A) Their credibility, and B) Any assumptions about them being sane.

Ha ....just google "Americans dont trust the government" There is a popular Pew research survey that said 75% of Americans dont trust their government.

http://www.theatlantic.com/business/...res-why/39148/

Distrust of media:

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/publ...ry_trustworthy
You do understand that those numbers aren't based around people mistrusting the government over some conspiracy to take away their rights, run evil conspiracies and its based around a structural mistrust over the government basically bungling the day to day operation of the country, that its more likely to make calls that don't necessarily trust the govenrment to make the right decisions and do the right thing, an example of which would be invading Iraq right.

And on the media one the argument is in the breakdown

Quote:
Fifty-six percent (56%) of all voters regard the news reported by the media as at least somewhat trustworthy, but that includes just six percent who think it is Very Trustworthy. Forty-two percent (42%) don’t trust the news media, with 12% who believe the news it reports is Not At All Trustworthy.
It would be equivalent to showing a breakdown poll that showed

56% found Kate Upton to be attractive
6% found her to be extremely attractive.

You're in the minority because your theories deserve to be in the minority. this board is filled with a lot of very smart people who have debated your theories pretty openly and you haven't been able to pull out anything that's changed them to your side of the fence.

I think Jon Stewart recently did a bit about this. We are so jaded, we have forgotten to contemplate how amazing it is we can fly across the country in a few hours. So what if we are delayed by a few minutes?

No but you can opt out of the machines and if you do, you are subjected to an invasive pat-down. This includes double-digit IQ TSA agents physically putting their hands down your pants. They've been caught groping women's breasts, telling 90 year old elderly grandmothers to remove their adult diapers, demanding that a war vet take off his prosthetic leg in full view, etc.. It goes on and on and on. Also, there are several safety concerns regarding the naked radiation scanners. Fact is none of these scanners have been thoroughly reviewed for safety, and in some airports have already removed them and switched to private security.

So the issues are with execution of security screening, which I clearly stated is a problem that needs to be addressed. The TSA has major issues with execution, but the security protocols themselves are not the problem.

Do you have a credible source for the health concerns about the scanners?

It is lowbrow, and to be honest CP is a joke when it comes to conversations like this.

Seriously. The only poster here that gets to accuse anyone of being lowbrow is Peter12.

I'm kidding, Peter. I am absolutely not serious.

I don't think that the study has been completed yet.
