This is amazing news.

The same two people involved in driving the Oiler franchise into the ground and into one of the worst teams in NHL history...

Actually its 3...as Howson was there for the years leading up to the blow up.

Howson the guy that orchestrated the Pronger, Carter and Nash trades when they demanded to leave their respective teams can now preside over the next generation of NHL stars that will want to leave

Tough to say if this will help them.

A big issue is they've had 50 different cooks in the kitchen. That hasn't really changed, and the cooks are all the same as before, save 1.
