Not sure why people are confused about Cervenkas reduction of ice time. He's not very good. In fact, we just won 4-1 and dominated, so what makes you think this would have gone any better by reducing the key players' ice time in the game and replacing it with cement feet Cervenka? He's not that great, move on.

Pretty much. Can't really see him sticking around after this year.

Always nice to put a nail in the Oilers coffin.
They just better not win the lottery again and jump in front of us.

People ask me why I think the Oilers are 3 or 4 years away.
After their first line, they really are a AHL team.
If they didn't get god mode goaltending from Dubynk this year they'd be picking first overall again.
Terrible team with no depth, wimpy players through the lineup and a blue line that's eye blisteringly terrible.

Yeah, he must have grown past 6'4'' if Max is really 6 foot.

I would love to have any one of the other Reinhart brothers on the team too.

Yeah, my family has a cottage in Pictou so it made me cringe when Cuthbert first said it.

Man, Reinhart just seems more suited to the NHL, great to see. This guy is such a pro, was a healthy scratch to start his professional year in the NHL. Bought into what his team was doing down there, learned, improved, starting producing, got his shot at the NHL and is making the most of it.
With Reinhart, Horak, Backlund, Baertschi and Brodie already on the team it's going to be a lot easier going forward. Those are five quality pieces.

Man, I haven't been so jacked after a Flames game in years... I'll take a 6, 7, 8 pick if they keep playing like this.

If this win means we get Barkov instead of Mackinnon -- I can' live with that.
The only problem is that if they keep playing like this, they'll keep winning... doh!

Flames were awesome tonight, Backlund and Sven are getting some good mojo going between themselves. Aliu Reinhart Horak all had good games. Status Quo for our rising D stud Brodie (meaning yet another great game). Joey was solid in net all night.
Suck it stupid greasers.

This is what the hockey gods do to you after you roll out your top powerplay unit when you're up 6-2 late in the third period.
