I thought that was a bigger ass-kicking than the 8-2 Oilers win, which was padded with a lot of PP goals. Flames completely dominant in a game that meant nothing to them, with several veterans out of the lineup.
It seems worth noting that the Flames, completely bottoming out and cashing in their chips, are all of 3 points behind the Oilers team that has been Building Something Special (TM) since the Bush administration.

Best part of a Flames win is the hibernation of Oiler fans.
These guys dominated in every facet of the game. Oilers had no answer for the physicality.

How long has it been? Sure looks good watching some youthful energy out there. It's been so long I had forgot what it was like. This is why teams need youth, push buttons and get things going. Great game, even if they have nothing to play for, great game.

Tonights lineup for the flames was my most favourite over the last couple of years.
No chance the older lineups in the past could have come out and played like that on a back to back.
