I've never wrapped my head around why the flames are so adamant about having Horak in the AHL or playing on the fourth line.
He's going to be a player, about time they started to let him play.

The filler was either horrible like babchuk or had term left. You can go player by player and find reasons why each guy was probably not in demand.

I won't actively cheer for the loss, but I know it's the best for the long term that we end up with a top 3 pick.

A 4th rounder that has produced a PPG at every level he's played at? A 4th rounder who may be small but has a lot of dive and talent? A 4th rounder who was a finalist for an award that quite a few NHL players have won? I get what you are getting at moon but star players have been drafted in later rounds as well and Gaudreau looks to have a lot of upside. Stop looking at things so negatively for once.

Most of us here want the Flames to win. By drafting 3rd overall instead of 6th overall it is better for the Flames, thus I want us to lose.

Ok well what my obvious exaggeration was trying to emphasize was that the draft is overall a crap shoot. First overalls never amount to anything and 7th rounders become franchise players. Does one happen as often as the other? No and I'm sorry for the confusion with my facetious opinion, but they do happen. So whats the point of bitching about 1st vs 5th? And why do you want these players to come in and lose?

Right. I'm not even really putting it all on Feaster but you have to admit that what happened, trading the two best and not much else, regardless of the reasons, is funny is a sad way.

Jeez, Yandle was sitting beside the net unencumbered for a solid minute on that goal. Ugly. Nice shot though.
