Well the old children of unwed mothers don't care about the playoffs but they don't want to lose enough to get canned from their cushy gigs and ridiculous wages.

How? They have been a bottom 5 team for the most of the season. With both Iggy and Bouwmeester in the line-up as well. We'll get a top 5 pick. Everyone chill out.

Judging from how Coyotes are playing it doesn't take much to be a playoff contender.

Doesn't really look like they're playing for their playoff lives.

It's not like they are playing well, they are doing their best to lose and Phoenix is somehow playing worse.

You would think this is a pre-season game with the way Phoenix is skating out there.

Top five or not, any one of Barkov, Lindholm or Monohan will look good in Flames Silks.

The value difference between Monahan and MacKinnon is probably close to our two other 1st round picks. I don't expect them to tank but it will be damned disappointing and damaging if they start winning.

if you want to cheer for a team that knows how to tank there's one up north you can go cheer for. I hate hearing this crap about us tanking.

Ya real men who take the moral highground don't care about petty crap like getting better players or actually winning the cup.

Real men take pride in winning every single battle. Whether your fighting for 1st, 8th, or 30th. Just complete BS to actively hope the team loses.

They are playing like they don't care and as that annoying intermission reporter keeps telling us this is the most important game of the season for them. Sure not playing like it.

I have tried and tried to see the separation between MacKinnon and the other centers but I just do not see it. He has qualities in his game that are unique to him yet the others each bring equal but different qualities to the ice.

This idea that there is a massive gap between the top three and 4-7 is a little exagerated.
