Ottawa and NYI victories are good for the Flames.
Would be good if Detroit and Minny win as well

What a tip by Jokinen.
They got this guy for a 7th with ridiculous conditions AND the Canes retained salary.
So dumb.

I would take Eric on the Flames anyday of the week.

After what I seen tonight, no thanks. Dude has no speed anymore. None, zero, zilch. Looks like Doug Murray skating with bad knees.

They took away Iginla's goal. Didn't see a deflection at the time. But crazy how some players have turned around their games with new teams, Jokinen with another 2 goals tonight.

Didn't see the game but based off of stats the guy is still very elite. 7 straight 70+ point seasons and he's scoring at an 84 point pace through a full season so far this year. Don't lie and say you would nab him if he became a UFA and wanted to sign with us on a cheep deal.

That's not bad at all. One of Bakrov/Lindholm/Monahan? Why would you be upset with any of those three? I'm not happy that we got screwed over tonight either but come on man. It's not the end of the world if we miss out on the big three.

I do not disagree he is still a producer in the NHL, but I'm not sure how to properly convey through text how awfully slow he was tonight. Still a big man who can force his will down low but he isn't the same guy I rememeber from the 06 cup where he was fast, powerful and dominant.

Upset? No
Pretty disappointed at not getting Drouin or MacKinnon? Yes

Carolina is certainly giving them a run for their money, but the Flames still sit behind them. And fortunately, as it stands now, the Canes have more regulation wins, so that's a nice advantage.
Speaking of which, the Sharks have 14 regulation wins? The same amount as the Flames, wow that's terrible.

Blues up 2-0 halfway through the third. Looking like 6 straight wins for the bluenote

I really don't think those 3 are in the same tier as Jones/Drouin/MacKinnon... it'd be a disappointing way to end the season.

The Senators win 3-1 as they stay in a playoff spot. The Habs win 5-1 and out shot the Sabres 42-15 and are ahead of the Bruins again for the division lead and second place in the east.
Detroit and the Sharks are in overtime now, it is a big single point for the Red Wings.
