I wouldn't worry about the Canucks too much...do you really think they are gonna win in the playoffs? I don't

Tanguay didn't help the PP either, well, help as in win the game, guess he helped with the drive for a higher pick odds.

Oh yeah, Brodie is going to be THE MaN on defense some day, he's excellent!

Part of me agrees but then who's going to play defense next season? IMO he's been the Flames worst overall player this season but given the Flames situation I would see if he can come back next year and turn things around but one more season like this one and it's time to cut bait.

Agreed, he was bad tonight. On another note, Glenx's interview reaffirmed to me that he wants to be part of the solution.

He ended up giving his goalie stick to a young kid wearing Canucks colors, so it's okay in my book.

Two games where the score was not indicative of how it was played. I blame it on the guys getting defensively lazy late in the game.. Our offense is also really losing its potency. Gotta make better on chances, not just shoot it into the goalie's chest. A dangerous shot is better than 10 lousy ones. I think that sums up how the game was won too.

Also, Canucks fans who turn their backs to the rink as soon as they score just to be big ####y showboats really are the epitome of their fanbase. Great, your team just got us a step closer to our next franchise player, now why don't you actually watch the rink and cheer on your damn team? Man, you think they'd pipe down a bit considering the circumstances of the game.

Sure, you could give him 1 more season, but since the team sucks anyway I would try and "sell high" even though he's not having a good season.

I also have to agree with others that Butler sucks. At least Brodie has passed him on the depth charts.

Too be expected when you ice lots of young kids and give them ice. At least the kids were competitive.

I think Horak looks a lot better than the previous times he was up. He's developed that extra first step which is helping him break away from backcheckers and pressure on the backcheck himself.

Sven is still missing that first step and really needs to work on his skating in the summer. For a small skilled guy, I think he needs to be quicker. With his skill level, that extra quickness will help him get to the scoring areas.

I like Reinhart's compete and he has a great slap shot. He still looks a bit raw out there and could use some more polish in the AHL. He reminds me of Chris Higgins.

I can't wait till this team is rid of Tanguay and Glencross. Tanguay has just checked out since Iggy left. He really shouldn't even be dressed. As for Glencross, I can't believe some were suggesting he be the next captain, the guy is the most selfish Flame out there. In that shift where Bieksa throw Backlund down after the whistle, Glencross was right there and just walked away. What the hell kind of a leader is that??? Iggy would have tuned Bieksa out. Just a pathetic response by Glencross, he doesn't have to fight Bieksa but at least go and back up Backlund, he just skated off. These two guys represent all that is wrong with the Flames, a sulker and a selfish and bad teammate.

Butler makes $1.25 million, can skate well and play 20 minutes a game. IMO he's the least of the Flames worries as the Flames would end up having to pay a guy double that to make up his minutes and be no better.

Worst player on the team since bubba. In fact, worse than bubba
Indeed. I mean, the kid tries, but he just doesn't do anything at an NHL level.

I would have loved to see one of those dbag fans get a beer shower. Would have been worth the 8 bucks.

We could always go with Seth Jones and Brodie I guess and try to mimic the Preds when they had Weber and Suter. We just need a solid goalie prospect to come in and the Flames could trap their way to playoff contention lol.
