Question Citizen Hearing on Disclosure of Extraterrestrial Presence

Quote:
An event with historical implications will be held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC from April 29 to May 3, 2013. At that time as many as forty researchers and military/agency witnesses will testify for thirty hours over five days before former members of the United States Congress.

The Hearing Committee is presently composed of Senator Mike Gravel (Dem/Lib, AK), Congresswomen Darlene Hooley (Dem, OR), Carolyn Kilpatrick, (Dem, MI), Lynn Woolsey (Dem, CA) and Congressman Merrill Cook (Rep, UT). One Additional Committee members may be added.

The Citizen Hearing on Disclosure of an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race will attempt to accomplish what the Congress has failed to do for forty-five years - seek out the facts surrounding the most important issue of this or any other time.

For this reason the motto for the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure is "If the Congress will not do its job, the people will."
http://www.citizenhearing.org/

The Citizen Hearing on Disclosure will bring 40+ researchers and government/agency witnesses to Washington, DC to testify before former members of the U. S. Congress on events and evidence supporting the truth of an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race and a government policy to embargo that truth.

VERY interesting.

I'm hardly a conspiracy theorist but I do have a hard time believing no government has any information on the topic that would be of interest.

The White House responds to petitioners regarding UFOs (updated)

http://doubtfulnews.com/2011/11/the-...egarding-ufos/
Thank you for signing the petition asking the Obama Administration to acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence here on Earth.

The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.
http://doubtfulnews.com/2012/12/ufo-...al-press-club/

There actually is nothing to tell.

http://www.skepdic.com/ufos_ets.html

Finally, it should be noted that UFOs are usually observed by untrained sky watchers and almost never by professional or amateur astronomers, people who spend inordinate amounts of time observing the heavens above. These untrained observers have been aided by the availability of inexpensive video cameras, yet despite the enormous increase in volume of such cameras, there has been a drop in the number of UFO observations.

Seems like a credible, impartial group.

Don't those Congressmen have better things to do?

I'd watch this just for the hilarity.

Of course they say that. Their very denial is evidence of the existance of UFOs.......otherwise they would come clean.

UFO enthusiasts admit the truth may not be out there after all

Declining numbers of “flying saucer” sightings and failure to establish proof of alien existence has led UFO enthusiasts to admit they might not exist after all.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/news...after-all.html

“The lack of compelling evidence beyond the pure anecdotal suggests that on the balance of probabilities that nothing is out there.

“I think that any UFO researcher would tell you that 98 per cent of sightings that happen are very easily explainable. One of the conclusions to draw from that is that perhaps there isn’t anything there. The days of compelling eyewitness sightings seem to be over.”

He said that far from leading to an increase in UFO sightings and research, the advent of the internet had coincided with a decline.

Of course he said that. Who developed and was instrumental in the growth of the internet.....the US Military, it serves their purpose to have sightings decline. They have filled the internet with half truths and red herrings.

This is clearly a False Flag operation to distract the educated public (who knew this all along) from other secret acts of violence and sabatoge the government is pulling off during that time period.

"I simply want them to conduct themselves as if they were sitting in Congress and conduct a hearing that the Congress won’t hold," he said.

Cook says he can do that, but don’t expect him to become a believer just because Paradigm is paying him and taking care of travel expenses for him and his wife.

"I made it clear to them that I am unlikely to be persuaded," said Cook, who represented Utah’s 2nd Congressional District for two terms starting in 1997. "Extraterrestrial life? I can buy into that as a possibility, but to this day I have not heard or read or seen anything that makes me believe that anyone has encountered one on Earth."

That said, Cook doesn’t want to disparage anyone who believes they’ve seen an unidentified flying object, and he points out that a UFO is merely an unexplained aircraft, not necessarily evidence of life from a far-away planet.

"I never felt I witnessed one," he said. "I am what you might call an open-minded skeptic when it comes to these things. I don’t want to imply that anybody has lied about what they think they have seen."

Yes Captain, the congressmen do have better things to do which is why all 5 of those aren't in office anymore for some up to 20 years.

He demoted his chief of staff Janet Jenson a few days after the election; in an email, Jenson told her colleagues, "Merrill has taken up permanent residence in whacko land. If he asks you to fax his underwear to the speaker's office, please just do it."
Quote:
On December 2, 2003, Woolsey wrote a letter on behalf of Stewart Pearson, the son of one of her senior aides, who had pleaded guilty to rape. In a letter written on her official congressional stationery, she asked the judge to consider mitigating circumstances and show leniency.[19] The judge in the case was not swayed by the letter, and sentenced Pearson to eight years in prison, the maximum allowed under the plea bargain. Woolsey has apologized for writing the letter, saying she did not know all the facts; the victim did not accept her apology.[20]

All right, Beatrice, there was no alien. The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

Unidentified Flying Threats

Quote:
The American government has not investigated U.F.O. sightings since 1969, when the Air Force ended Project Blue Book, an effort to scientifically analyze all sightings to see if any posed a threat to national security. Britain and France, in contrast, continue to investigate U.F.O. sightings, because of concerns that some sightings might be attributable to foreign military aircraft breaching their airspace, or to foreign space-based systems of interest to the intelligence community.

Most of the incidents investigated in Britain have been easily explained as misidentifications of stars and planets, aircraft lights, satellites and meteors, but some cases have raised national security or air safety issues.
Quote:
In addition, there have been several incidents of near misses between U.F.O.s and known aircraft — enough to prompt the Ministry of Defense and the British Civil Aviation Authority to advise pilots, if they encounter anything, “not to maneuver, other than to place the object astern, if possible.”

The United States is no less vulnerable than Britain and France to threats to security and air safety. The United States Air Force or the National Aeronautics and Space Administration should reopen investigations of U.F.O. phenomena. It would not imply that the country has suddenly started believing in little green men. It would simply recognize the possibility that radar alone cannot always tell us what’s out there.

You still suck at this and you're giving people brain damage with all that flashing. On top of all of that mumbo jumbo, you were never a congressmen, you were a romance novalist, astronaut billionaire from New Jersey who lives alone because you booted your significant other out of the house, and your the better and more sane person because of it.

Now your going to go into town, go to Bloomingdales or something and buy yourself some nice clothes and get some nice shoes because honestly Damn, oh and there's no such things as aliens"
