Brodie is one of those young players that sees a void, and is stepping up and asserting himself. Truthfully, if we must name a captain next year, he'd get my vote ahead of anyone else currently on the roster.

His hip injury really derailed his development... He's only come back into form in the last two years.

I'll absolutely have to defer to you guys on this one. I'm ecstatic to see it happening as it wasn't on my radar at all. I remember seeing the thread about who the next captain should be.. and I thought perhaps Gio if he could return to form--but with Brodie stepping up like this I'd be very comfortable with him as our Captain.
