How many games left until Sven would be ineligable for the Calder next year?

Sweet. One of few reasons to still watch Flames games this season

Awesome. I hope he is here for the duration of the season and I hope he is at least on line 2.

Excellent. So that's 3 of the 4 re-calls, right? After Carson and Reinhart ... Horak was prior to the deadline, I believe. One call-up left ... oh, and the Heat season ends a week prior to the Flames season, so if I'm right the Flames are allowed to go full-farm at that point because the Heat won't reach the playoffs ... right?

He would be ineligible if he play more than 25 games (and he had only played 10 this year) or has played six professional games in either of the previous two seasons, so the fact he only played 5 games last year is what is keeping him eligible actually.

I just hope that he is given opportunities to develop confidence in the areas of the game we will need from him going forward - including powerplay time.

I read in another thread here that the 4 re-call limit was abolished in the new CBA. Don't think it needs to be worried about anymore.

that's interesting because Feaster mentioned the 4 re-call limit in his interview with Steinberg ... right at the end of the interview he said "we only get the four free re-calls during this period"

I'd like to see him play. I hope he can develop, despite the shipwreck that he's on.

As much as I love Sven, this is horrible news.

The Flames are a better team today than they were yesterday.

Save the improvements for next season, after you've drafted Mackinnon.

Yeah, but we know how often Feaster reads the CBA.

Is he replacing Tangs?

Glad to see him back up. Would love to see him Horak and Reinhart on a line.

He should be very hungry, and he had enough success in Abby to bring his confidence back up. Cant protect him from the awful now, so give him a chance to contribute in a meaningful way. Give the fans a reason to watch this team.
