The only show on TV that I watch regularly. Can't wait for the new season.
So pumped for the return of Mad Men. That is some interesting promo art - I wonder if the police in the background foreshadow some legal troubles brewing for SCDP or Don himself. Was identity theft a crime in the 60's?
Somewhat unrelated but I like how the cable companies space out their shows so that there is always something good on. Fall was Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, Walking Dead. Winter was Walking Dead and Spartacus. Now Spring is time for Mad Men and Game of Thrones. Awesome.

Those are all my favorite shows!! Only ones your missing are Sons of Anarchy & Homeland.

Riots in NYC in 1968.

Yeah I was disappointed too. I hope this season takes a slightly different path. The world has always happened in the periphery in Mad Men, but the events of 1968 are pretty major. Riots everywhere, Vietnam getting deep with the Tet offensive, MLK and RFK assassinations, the 68 DNC (which granted, happened in Chicago). I just hope the events of this time seep more into the show this season. There are allusions to it with the non-regular cast youth like Sandy and those guys in the ghetto building. It will be interesting to see.
Yeah, it was ok. I hope this year isn't all about these old guys searching for meaning in their lives and dealing with their mortality. I wasn't really buying the heart surgeon talking like Don's work was as important and meaningful as his. I liked this show when there seemed to be some self awareness that they were mostly a fairly shallow, insecure bunch of guys.
