Yakupov did that in junior too...remember this is the guy that tied game three and had the biggest celebration in 2 decades of NHL hockey

Sven would not act like that I do know it, 99.9% of the league doesn't act like that

Wow, that was crazy and fun. Taylor Hall is an absolute beast and one of the top players in the game already. Whatever happens from here on out, I'm just glad that this team has improved in their play and compete level a lot. No more of that trash from the past 3 years. On the plus side now for GF/GA.

Was Bob Hartley the best coach outside of the NHL?

Embrace the fail as Oiler fans have had to for the last 4 seasons or so.

Trust me, it is worth the wait!
I think you should probably wait to proclaim that until the wait is actually over.

This seems surprising to some of you... and that's surprising.

This was a bad team to begin with, and then it was stripped of it's best forward and best defenseman.

What did you expect?

Is every post game thread for the rest of the year going to be recycled shock at how the team lost and currently sucks?

The rest of this season is a write-off. Accept it now and save yourself some frustration.

They're on a hot streak, it was only a mouth ago a plethora of Oiler fans were wondering when and if they would ever turn it around.

A hot streak covers up a lot of warts.

this is nothing new though, they have looked like this most of the year

Quite pathetic. Not really sure if Hartley is the right guy for the Flames going forward.

Pretty sad to see.

Edit: Maybe Brodie, other than that absolutely no one
My impression is that the team looked totaly lost tonight. It was if someone knocked the wind out of them. I hope someone steps up and assumes the role quickly or the end remaining games could be painful to watch.

The team's not very good. And a day like this, it's almost understandable to consider a write-off. Probably a lot of players had restless nights.

But one more game with that pathetic effort and no one should be claiming any ounce of leadership exists in that room. Lose games, fine, but put in an effort.

I thought exactly the same thing during the game. Several times. I'm an optimist, really, truly. Hope some of those picks are truly fine.

Remaining schedule:

@SJ
@VAN
@COL
VAN
PHO
@EDM
MIN
DET
ANA
@MIN
@NSH
@STL
@CHI

Most of the teams are in playoff/division fights. Colorado game is on the road. After watching that game tonight they honestly might lose out.

What does this comment have to do with anything?

Would any coach from the annals of hockey history be able to do something with this roster as it is now?

Just another useless piling on comment.
