I wish I could just simulate the next 3 seasons like I used to do in NHL04

I'm very indifferent to the on ice version of this team.

Off ice, will be very interesting

No fight in this team whatsoever. They've clearly packed it in for the season. Sad to watch.

Except we're not a good team. Don't see how pit losing is supposed to make us feel better.

For sure, one of the most respected Oilers, did not look pleased with him after the goal. The way he carries himself is cartoonish. His fellow players know it too.

Will cause problems down the line unless he is dealt with. Hopefully the Oilers have enough veteran presence in the room to deal with such a personality.

Any explanation for why Horak didn't see much ice after 2?

So far no one is stepping up to a leadership role...
Pretty sad to see.

Edit: Maybe Brodie, other than that absolutely no one

Even you can admit that a reaction like that is poor form

When his own teammates have a problem with his goal celebrations then I'd say there is actually a problem there.

As I believe Flash said in the game thread, Horak tried to play defense and thats against the game plan.

No Bev at the game tonight. This game made me sad. A bunch of mediocre players. I know most of them are trying their best, but that just made me more sad. The C of Red was weak too, overcome by Oilers fans. Bummer. The fourth line was pretty good tonight, atleast showed some emotion. Yeah for Stajan, he's the best player on the team. Bummer again.

IIRC didn't some of his teammates pull him aside after his cup winning goal earlier in the year?

Not a good sign.

Too much defense, compete.

I jest, of course.

Can't say that until he has anywhere near the impact that Yakupov has had...or scores another goal.
