I could see him going to Boston maybe for Bartowski or a fourth round pick, I am just speculating.

Didn't consider that. Sarich for Bartkowski makes a lot of sense.

Searched Twitter. Didn't see anything about Sarich besides the tweet from this guy.

Looks about as legit as any low to mid-level reporter out there. I'd trust him more than Eklund, anyway. Several of the bigger names follow him.

Seriously though it's about time we got a return for players like Sarich and Babchuk. Last years deadline left me disillusioned as a Flames fan, and getting a decent return on guys like these would make me quite happy.

I know I am in the extreme minority....but Sarich is/was one of my favorite Flames.
I love grit, I love how he continues to smash people and has always played his game his way.
If I could sit with any Flame for 15 minutes, it's him.

Well I don't know why anyone would make up anything about Cory Sarich so I have to believe there is something to it.

I'm fine with trading him for whatever we can get, but I'll be sad to see him go. His hit on Marleau and the comeback that followed was one of the highlights of the years between the lockouts.
