Calgary Flames = The joke of the NHL

Everybody is absolutely destroying us after the Bouw and Iginla deals went down. Oiler fans are bashing us endlessly. I dare try to drift over to HFBoards and hear what they are trying to say. I've been trying to explain to these Oiler fans why i don't think we got hosed like everyone is saying but they keep on ignoring my points and bashing the management. How much longer do you think we will be a laughing stock in the media?

Everyone said the Flames should re-build, now that they are doing it, they are still getting crapped on.

Unfortunately, the NHL plays musical chairs with the "goat" team. Calgary just happens to be the goat right now, and Edmonton was the goat for a few years themselves.

I'm almost certain there will be another team in pure disaster mode next year that will take the goat label. My money is on St. Louis.

Don't worry, the hate train will come to a stop in due time.

Ahh, the Oiler fans - if they can't dwell in the past or in the future, they turn their attention to Calgary.
Are their memories really that short that they were in the same position a few years ago but kept trying to convince everyone this was the way to go and they weren't just drinking the Kool-Aid?
