I hope you are right.
I am just ticked off that 4 of the prospects that we received from Iggy and JayBo's trade, we never even heard of. We have to google them to find out who they are. I am not even sure if any of these players will even be here in Calgary in the future. Funny thing about the NCAA players, you can easily lose them for nothing (see the Anaheim fiasco on Justin Schultz).

Bouwmeester's iron man streak continues, based on the way the Flames intentionally positioned the trade call: Jay Feaster on 960.

The Iron Man Streak is still alive, Feaster apparently made sure of it.

It would have been but Feaster seems to be a pretty easy GM to deal with for opposing GM's. I can't believe between Iginla and Bouwmeester not one A or B grade prospect was in either return. The guys on RSN don't even know who these guys are and while that doesn't mean they are bad players but they are not highly touted players.

Feaster talking about the goalies and how to build from the net out...heard that a couple years ago from him, but substitute Irving back then for Ramo or Yogi...well the first one fell off the map in Irving.

they may not have wanted to, but for a top pairing guy in his prime they should have been forced to part ways with him and their 1st.
I hate you feaster, i have wanted Rattie on the Flames for a couple years now, and you just blew our shot.

They keep getting guys that will likely play pro. Too many of our prospects have flaked out, not playing any role on our team. We need to be graduating our prospects and have them contribute some way some how on our team.
Plus the 1st round pick is huge. More picks more picks.
Also jay bouwmeester was not a draft pick of ours, he was a free agent signing. We paid a 3rd for him. It's turned into a 1st and prospects.
We win.

Feaster really pissing me off comparing Bouwmeester and Iginla situations. Guy takes no responsibility.

Feaster taking backhanded shots at Meehan and Iginla in talking about Bouwmeester and his agent.
Disgusting.

I cannot believe people take HF prospect rating as gospel! They're just fans opinions and more often then not they have never watched the player just looking at stats.Plus the more "fans" on that site help propel the ratings. Honestly HF rating is a joke as far as I am concerned and I was HF moderator for while.
I personally liked Bouw and hope he does well in St. Louis.

Agreed. Bungled the Iginla thing and still pissing on him and his agent for them bungling it.
Just said "Open for buisness"...last time I heard that was Lowe at the draft.
"He didn't come here to trade these guys"...hopefully on the way out.
