If the Blues miss the playoffs, the 1st slides to next year, but Calgary gets a 2013 4th to make up for it.
Win either way, IMO.

Okay so if the Blues miss the playoffs the 1st round pick is deferred to 2014? No other picks though and just these two prospects? Would be nice to get a top prospect back in one of these deals.

This has always been my dream, and if Feaster some how manages to pull it off I will perform fellatio on him.

I think the game started before he was officially dealt right?

You guys are the best....the team was crapping the bed, and has been for how many years in a row? The rebuild should've happened a couple years back but didn't.....no one said it would be fun but it's a necessary evil in sports for broken teams. You expect that Feaster should be able to dump a dirty salary in Bouw and get one of St.Louis best prospects......
We are going to be bad for a bit, no big deal.....lot`s of money to spend on UFA`s. I love this, i want to cheer for a winner in the future, keep all these guys till they leave for nothing or try and get something for them while they have some value.....
Feaster was handcuffed with Iggy....he wanted to go to Pitt, not much he can do to force Pitt into overpaying for Iggy.

Indeed. Writing is on the wall. Kipper is gone.

And so it begins.
This team is going to suck it long and its going to suck it hard, but its a necessary evil.

I don't think Bouwmeester, without salary coming back, can dictate a 1st and a top prospect.
My bet is that Feaster wants 1sts first.

Yeah, that's my thinking as well, meaning it really didn't "officially" end since he really didn't have a chance to play for either team.

A late pick in 2014 might actually be better than a late pick this year, from what I've heard.

Feaster bringing up cap space scares me, unless he means taking on other teams' bad contracts in return for future assets.
There is really nobody on the market this summer that would be worth shelling out money for, and I definitely don't want to see futures packaged in trades for "big names."

Has Feaster finally admitted that the flames are rebuilding?
Also i thought he said he as not the man for a rebuuild?

Let's see if his playoff-less streak continues with the Blues. That would be hilarious!
