People are underestimating how valuable these first round picks are, especially this year. Teams do not want to give them up. We draft smart this year and this franchise is heading in the right direction.

People weren't happy when the Flames were steadfast, people screamed about tampering owners. Now that were stocking up on 1st round picks and cutting loose the core suddenly Feaster should be fired. Ignoring Iggy's return, maybe the Bouwmeester trade isn't quite the return some wanted. But we got *another* 1st rounder in a deep draft. Wtf did people expect? We'd send Bouwmeester to the Wings for their best young prospect and their 1st rounder? Teams like St. Louis and Detroit got where they are thru strong asset management. I'm hoping the last 5 years was a lesson for our owners in just that.
