Reimer/Scrivens + pick or prospect?
You'd have to think one of them have to be dealt if Kipper arrives, though not necessarily to us I suppose.

I will be in tears if Kipper gets traded. Not the face of the franchise like Iginla, but THE FRANCHISE!

I don't really blame Ward for the Iginla to Boston thing. Should he have been 150% sure before he reported the news? Yes.
But EVERYONE was expecting Iggy to be moved to Boston. Hell, the Boston Bruins thought they had a deal. It's not really Ward's fault that Iggy chose Pittsburgh at the 11th hour.
If Kipper is moved, I'll be disappointed, but I won't be as sad as I was when Iggy was moved. This, like the Iginla trade, is a move that has to be done. No one wants to do it, but the good of the team and the future of the franchise is ALWAYS above any player in my book. And that includes Miikka Kiprusoff and (as much as it pains me to say it) Jarome Iginla.
Iginla was traded...in my book, that opens the door to any player being moved, aside from Sven and Gaudreau.

but as i've said before, i think scrivens and a 2nd (could be conditional).

There was an earlier blockbuster being discussed, correct?
If so I can see Stajan, Cammalleri or Giordano also being part of the deal.

I think if we do trade Kipper the return won't be much. I agree with maybe a 2nd or 3rd pick. Outsite of Toronto, where else is there any sort of market for Kipper that he would consider going to?

I would think a Scrivens and a 2nd might work.
Depends if they get him to agree to an extension or what they hear about his desire to play next year.
No need for TO to have Scrivens, Reimer and Kipper and Scrivens would be a decent guy to pair with Ramo for the next two years while the Flames rebuild.
But as Stryker says I am probably way off as well.

I think ANYTHING for kipper is a positive. I would rather get a 2nd rounder and a mid-prospect than nothing at all.
BTW - What NCAA's are in the Leaf's system.

A 2nd and a defensemen would be my guess for a return.

Someone tweeted Flames have no interest in dealing Gio. He's the next captain if I recall this correctly.

with it coming from Ward I full expect Luongo to announce a Luongo to Toronto deal is finalized
makes sense though for Toronto for Kipper, I saw Dreger say it could be a prospect and a conditional 2nd based on him re-signing
