What happens if I don't pay Westpark?

Got a ticket for being in a 10-minute visitor parking spot for 13 minutes.

It's pretty clear I violated the rules but I'm not paying $45 for 3 minutes of parking in a low-traffic residential neighborhood (Springborough) in the middle of the day. That's highway robbery.

Does anyone know what they can do with my information? Can it actually affect me long-term if I don't pay them?

I don't think anything. I recollection is they are not enforcable tickets. However, I think they can tow you if you park again, unpaid. If you park paid I don't think they can touch you.

The towing companies usually don't bother coming out unless you've been there a good while, since it usually takes a few hours to get a tow truck anywhere and it'd kill there bottom line if they went chasing after everyone who was just outside of their allotted time. So if you keep things under a few hours and you're only legally obligated to pay the cities traffic tickets, all private parking is basically free parking.

They'll issue it to collectors and who cares...I turfed five or six tickets from impark over the years.Like he said it'll take a tow truck at least 1/2 an hour to get there.

Pretty sure it costs nothing extra to get a new plate the next time you have to renew your registration.

I have had to work with impark, they are total knobs, but really all they can do is get you towed. The parking companies are powerless unless you damage something.

I never pay those tickets. A year ago, I had Impark send me a letter saying that I had two unpaid tickets and that they were going to send me to collection unless I paid them (plus a late penalty). I just ignored it and I never heard anything about them again.
