Outside of Iggy, I'm actually cheering for the Islanders here....with a win they could leapfrog the Rangers into 8th. Would love to see this team have a little bit of success finally.

And if they don't make it, they are only 5 points in front of the Flames with 1 more game played. As far as I'm concerned the more teams in front of the Flames the better.

Really though, they probably should have let iggy sit for a couple just so he can at least get some practices in.

Wonder how many activations of NHL Center Ice just because of Iggy going to Pitt?

Why? He's been playing all season. They didn't acquire him to sit on the sidelines.

He needs to skate the entire time. Malkin and Neal fly. Really shouldnt be giving him the puck to enter the zone. Was an issue here and can be one in PITT.

I've always had a soft spot for the Islanders. I think they are such a classic NHL organization and some great players have suited up for them. I really want John Tavares to do well and bring this team into the playoffs. He's a phenomenal talent and I often wish he'd get more recognition than he does.

Pens go offside even without Iginla on the ice. Does his negative influence know no bounds?

Bylsma will recognize that Iggy is as uncoachable as CP knows, and adapt the entire team's game, do not fret.

No i get that but just learning on the fly a new way to play hockey might be a little difficult is all. Would have been nice to get a practice in. Not that I know much about playing it could be nothing.

When is the last time we saw him throwing the body around like he has so far this game?

He looks winded.

Man, I feel sick looking at him in that sweater. This is going to take some time to get used to. It's like a breakup where you see the girl is happier now that she has moved on. Ugh.

Man the Islanders are the Coyotes of the East.

They get away with so much garbage.

I wasn't aiming at that angle. More that Malkin and Neal are much better at carrying the puck into the zone than Iggy.
