so are Eto'o, Traore, and Willian

I guess there becomes a point where the money can make up for racist comments coming from the crowd.....

Beautiful goal by Tottenham.

Top class pass by Bale and then a wonderful touch and finish by Vertonghan.

Not PL related, but Bayern are absolutely putting the boots to Hamburg. 7-0 after 60 minutes.

O'Neill fired

Sunderland are in massive trouble, had to try something

1 point off 18th, Villa and Wigan both with a game in hand, no Cattermole or Fletcher rest of season

@ Chelsea
@ Newcastle
v Everton

Norwich sure have made their survival a bit more difficult as of late. Aside from the late win against Everton a few weeks ago, they haven't won in about 15 games. Any insurance that they earned in that fantastic run before Christmas has been cashed in, and they're now in danger of getting sucked into the relegation zone.

Despite tightening things up in the back this year, more often than not, the team goes with a lone striker and seems content to sit back and try and hang on for a draw. They've only scored about 5 goals in 2013.

An optimist would say that, with home matches still remaining against Reading and Villa, they're probably safe. But realistically, they haven't shown that they can win - lot alone score - against anyone lately. I respect Chris Hughton, and I hope that premier league survival = piles of new TV deal money = more attack, but the way they are hobbling to the line this season by going for (and losing) 0-0 results doesn't instill a lot of confidence.

I shouldn't have to cheer for a Fulham win this afternoon, dammit!

Adam Johnson likes to cut in to the left all the time, I imagine he isn't long for that club at all

Bale's ankle injury not as bad as feared. Scan went well, not out for season & #thfc hope he'll be back for #mcfc on 21 April #bbcfootball

Quote:
"From the medical department's first analysis, everything is positive. It shouldn't be as bad as it looks because Gareth has torn that ligament before and there's nothing to tear now."
that quote about the ligament doesn't sound like it should be a positive but it seems like it is
