Perhaps the best news of the night is that, with a win, Tampa leapfrogs us and we sit in the 4th draft position.

Because their management is even worse then ours and rivals the Islanders. It's actually amazing how bad it is.

They want Seth Jones, he's kind of like a home grown son for them. I'm sure they hire a new coach next year.

They don't even have much in the way of assets to move at the deadline. Stastny is even having a terrible year, so there is little incentive for them to move him to upgrade the team elsewhere. Really tough to be an Avs fan these days. They really need to get Seth this draft - both for the help on defence, and to try and get the fans something to cheer for/distract them.

I can't criticize a group of players that know these 2 heathens are going to gut this team. I wonder how Hartley feels about being put in the position to coach what is left.

Not even mad at the loss. The only thing I don't like are Kipper's stats this season. So many good years then...bam 3.52 gaa and .873 save %.

Yeah they should get a pass for a couple of games to settle down but they should be playing to keep their spots in Calgary.

Ya it must be hard to put in a honest effort when they have no clue who will be dealt for picks. Real crappy position for all the players.

I honestly did celebrate every flames goal, and was excited. but the thing that has changed is i no longer get overly upset when we get scored on. just kinda shrug my shoulders...

Did the BJs score every goal on the rush? Ugly game. Brodie looked lost for the first time this season. Kipper had a rough game. Just tough to watch right now.

Tough seeing the guys talk in the post game interviews. They're genuinely upset and I feel bad for them. Usually it's Iginla doing a lot of the post game talk but now guys like Gio and Bouw have to take accountability and it's not easy.
I do wish this team would win a few games in a row, I know draft position blah blah blah, but man I just think this team is in hell right now and a few wins might lighten the mood a bit.
Edmonton on Monday will be a good game.
Go FLAMES!!

Too tight in that bottom 4 area, I still don't think we're ending up with one of those picks.

why do you care about the mood of players that aren't part of the future...its not draft pick blah blah blah. A top pick is a necessity, would rather do it this year when we are already out of it and the season has only been a few months
