Not really, just the smaller cost due to the smaller season. $49.99 regular, 15% off if you are a member of Friends of Shaw.
Just picked it up.. May or not be worth it as I believe they don't show games that are on NBC/NHLN. So looking at their schedule, it appears only 4 of the remaining games will be shown, others will either be on TSN, NBC or NHLN.

I called Shaw, did the friends of Shaw for the 15%, and then got on the phone with the guy. Told him it was crazy to pay 42 (with discount) for Center Ice. He said nothing he could do....so I said I was disappointed and yadda yadda.
He told me to hold, came back and gave it to me at 30 Bucks.

Went hunting for a Pens/Iginla jersey today. No luck.
Picked up a hat. I can be patient. As long as I have it for playoffs!

Hello Flames Fans!
Just wanted to hop over and say that you are an incredibly classy fanbase and that you can trust with every fiber of your being that Sidney Crosby and Co. will make it their sole objective to get a Cup for Jarome Iginla. Players like Pascal Dupuis were laying down to block shots last night with a 3-0 lead in the 3rd period, this team is skilled, focused, primed and ready to deliver for #12!
Additionally, I do not want to upset anyone however, it is highly unlikely that Iginla will be a winger on Crosby's line. The chemistry on that line currently, Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis is absolutely incredible. People are, jokingly, starting to ask if each of them are implanted with GPS devices because they are flying all over the ice, overwhelming teams, and they always seem to know where each other is. Could Iggy replacing Dupuis improve the line? Quite possibly, however does he still have the speed to keep up with a Crosby with the type of transition up-tempo style that the line plays with? I honestly do not know but with injuries anything is possible. Will he see P.P. time with Crosby, he better! In fact, the Pens have no excuse to not ice 2 tremedous power play units [which is something we've been clamoring for since Crosby and Malkin joined the team].
Also, I would like to attempt to quell the discussion that Pittsburgh has poor goaltending/defense [defence ]. Was Marc-Andre Fleury absolutely abysmal last playoff against Philadelphia? Yes, as was the entire D corp! That series was an abomination that will never be repeated by this current roster. Between Fleury and Vokoun, the Penguins have arguably one of the top tandems in the NHL. This team has committed itself to unselfish, disciplined hockey all beginning with a speech my none other than, Tomas Vokoun.
Quote:
Tomas Vokoun gave a first-intermission speech during that game. The veteran said his teammates were playing “neurotic hockey, that it’s exactly what the Flyers want, not what we (the Penguins) need.”
Vokoun then replaced Marc-Andre Fleury with the Pens down, 4-1. He stopped 14-of-14 shots over the course of the final 40 minutes and Pittsburgh scored four unanswered goals to pull off a surprising 5-4 comeback victory.
Vokoun’s performance was in contrast to his showing against the Flyers at Consol Energy Center on Feb. 20. Philadelphia beat the Pens, 6-5, in a game finally decided by a bad-angle Jakub Voracek wrister that somehow eluded Vokoun.

Ever since that moment, the Penguins defense has been stellar. They have given up no more than 2 goals in any of the past 10 games and have only done that twice. So they have given up one or less goals in 8 of the past 10 games. The P.K. is steadily getting better and some of the additions should help with that, either directly or indirectly by allowing certain players to dedicate more energy to the P.K.
I think that about covers what I wanted to say, thank you for allowing me to post here and also thanks for Iggy, this legend is getting a cup this year and, not because I do not want him in PGH but he belongs in Calgary so I hope he returns to you folks if he gets his cup this year.
Edit: Oh yeah, suppliers are running out of Iggy jerseys because there are not enough I's, haha true story!

I doubt Iggy starts on a line with Crosby, but I also doubt that Dupuis-Crosby-Kunitz keep up this pace for another 15 or however many games.
Hell of a run, but as it faulters we will see Iggy bump up to play with Crosby. The two were meant to be together, like peanut butter and jam. In a clutch situation trust us Mr. Pens fan, you want Iggy out on the ice.

if TSN or CBC don't pick up the afternoon game tomorrow for Iginla's debut, they're idiots. ratings would be huge for a non-Canadian matchup

Unfortunately Iggy will not be playing tomorrow. He will make his Pittsburgh debut on Tuesday against Buffalo.
During the month of March the Pens 1st line has 27 goals, 59 points and is +56. I would be a foolish hockey fan to desire breaking that up. If Iggy can somehow supplant himself where Dupuis is and improve upon that production -WOW, the NHL is in trouble this May and June, a lot of trouble.

Iginla has never played with a legitimate all-star center man. Nobody of Crosbys caliber. If he played with Crosby, they'd light it up all the way to the Cup, I guarantee it. I don't watch Pens hockey (that'll change though), so I don't know how this line has been performing other than that stat you provided. But someone like Iginla would probably do better than Dupuis. Scoring 40 goals with Olli Jokinen as your center is certainly something Dupuis wouldn't be able to do.

I would assume Crosby gets double-shifted at times, and you can bet Iginla will have time with Crosby.
If I am Pittsburgh, I wouldn't break up the Crosby line right away. Just work Jarome into the lineup, and see where everyone is the best fit on. I bet he starts with Malkin, and gets time with Crosby and Sutter.
