I'm not selling mine. Might go to 90% of games (skipping the Nashvilles and phoenixs of the league)
At least there's something to look forward to.

A great many people with season tickets don't go to all the games. Instead, they have a group of partners they parcel off games to for cost.
The longer the rebuilding period, the weaker your chain of partners will become until much of the cost is falling on only a few or only yourself.
By the early 2000's, I was finding it difficult to even give my row 1, ice level seats away to clients. No one wanted to go to the games.
That was my experience.
The Flames were very lucky, business-wise, to go all the way to the Stanley Cup finals after seven years out of the playoffs. Normally, rebuilding a flatlining customer base that has gotten out of the habit of going to games would take a lot longer.
I live outside of the city now and get occasional complimentary tickets. I haven't paid for a Flames game for almost a decade after owning season tickets from the early 90's. I cancelled because it was inconvenient to go to a large number of games whereas before the Saddledome was quite close to my house.

I would go to more games and actually consider seasons tickets with a rebuild. Watching the current group under-achieve is harder to watch then an up and coming team that shows they want to grow and improve.

For me it would depend on the Flames trade deadline and off season transactions.
I'm happy management finally has moved on from the Iginla era, but I am not a fan of the return. Not a single asset that could help us next season, and probably the season after that. So for me, it depends on how Feaster (hopefully Burke) goes about making the roster competitive again. If Feaster continues with Regehr and Iginla type players for bottom pairing D and long shot prospects we are in for a long wait.

Do the Flames currently sell out all their season tickets, or is there a waiting list?

I'm not spending another cent on this franchise until Feaster is out. As far as I'm concerned the Flames entered another dark age the moment he was named GM

Lots of empty seats last night (I would believe most were paid for) but I don't believe this city will support any type of rebuild.

That will hold pretty true. I'd guess they're not sold out of season tickets next year. It will be a hard sell to people on the fence, when they can get tickets for the games they want to go to for cheaper than season tickets, there is no realistic of hope of benefiting from playoff tickets, and you can't get rid of the tickets for games you don't want to go to.
At least the Flames now know if they team is good, the building will sell out, so that makes it easier to invest in winning. I don't think the owner's knew that in the young gun era.

For me it is a matter of being able to sell half of my seats to the games I don't want to go to for the season ticket holder price. So far this year it has been possible but i worry for future years.
I am 50/50 right now if I am going to renew. Not because I don't like the direction or the quality of the product but because I don't want to take the risk of losing money on games I don't go to. I would rather be the person paying less for games from season ticket holders.

I guess I'll be the first one to say yes. I only have a game pack so not sure it's the same thing but my reason is this. I've lived through the "Young Guns" era once and don't have much desire to watch it again. I know this situation is different as money isn't an issue for us under the cap system but not much interest in paying to see a long road of re-building that is coming up, perfectly happy watching the games at home.

I'm on the fence right now. I was only able to sell two games this year of the four I couldn't attend. Lots of people say they want to buy tickets from you from the draft to the start of preseason... until the time comes to actually cough up the cash. I might relocate to cheaper seats than my current ones to ride out this rebuild and then try to move back to better ones in a few years.
If anyone actually wants to ticket share for next season send me a PM. Be warned though, my cost is about $395 per pair per game.

Exactly. Honestly I just want them to play harder than the other team every single night and I'll be happy.

I was going to cancel my pair if they decided not to rebuild.
They still haven't shown quite enough yet though.
