Man, I remember years ago when there was the league wide lottery to determine first draft pick, to get Crosby. My brother and I were pretty much begging some invisible force to let it be Calgary so that Crosby and Iginla could play together and light it up.
Guess that force finally answered and had to be a dick about it :/.
He seems pretty happy about it and I'm actually feeling less emotional than I thought I would. Iginla is why I really fell in love with this team, and he will always be my favourite player, and I honestly just feel happy that he's got real chance to contend for the cup again. And the Flames will finally start facing the real issues this team is facing. All in all, I think its best for everybody. Really hope he comes back for a last hurrah, like Linden in Vancouver.
