That's another pretty bad trade when you look at what rentals typically bring in at the deadline.
Better than the Boston deal I guess but the 29th or 30th overall pick and two later picks is still pretty close to what Douglas Murray brought in. At least he got the pick, most important part.
Kind of alarming to me how heavily Feaster and Weibrod lean on the US College system, it's almost Sutteresque the way he used to be about the dub.

I know Hanowski from scouting in the CPHL. I drafted him the year he was, and he's a good player. Both guys are good despite the rounds they were taken.

Wow, Pitt is really loading up. Too bad he's not going to be in Boston, but that return looks a lot better than the rumoured Bruins deal.

I kind of prefer the Boston deal I think...
Both Agostini and Hanowski were drafted a number of years ago, so I'm sure that they were on a few radars?
None of Maata, Harrington, Bennet, Pouliot... the shock has faded and dissapointment resurfaces

Don't know anything about those players, but I'm just going to enjoy the epic twist for tonight and the fact that we got a 1st guaranteed that we can package hopefully.
Tomorrow I'll look into these players.

This is worse than the Boston rumour. I at least had faith that Iggy would re-sign so they would have had Koko and a 1st.

Ultimately I think value wise this is on par with the rumored deal with Boston, before the 1st turned conditional.
I think the russian kid was probably a better prospect than either Pens guy, but both Pens' guys are better than the dman coming in the Bs deal.
Return seems about right - was hoping for Dumolin but that's OK.
Looking forward to seeing what Iggy can do with the Pens. They've always been my 2nd favourite team dating back to when a certain player got traded there years ago.

I think it's obvious Iginla would not waive to go to Boston since the deals were pretty similar. I think he preferred to play with the Penguins.

So that is potentially 2 players that picked Pitts over Boston, Morrow and Iginla.
Feaster just said Not a conditional first rounder.
