Koko is basically another Backlund (with more offensive skill) and Bartkowski has shown some progression in his development. If it's a 1st or even a 2nd, that is fine.

Iginla's 35 years old, and hasn't been the best player on the team this year. I know everyone is disappointed that he is gone. I'm disappointed he is gone, but you have to move on and getting a guy that could become a good 2nd line C for the next ten years is a good thing. We all would prefer someone like Seguin or Hamilton, but Iginla is 35, not 30 or younger. We cannot expect to get an awesome guy for someone that's 35, despite our feelings about him.

We have 7 million dollars now freed up to spend in the offseason and we'll be able to add those to replace some of the loss that we're seeing now. It will be fine.
