Khokhlachev is fine. Bartkowski? WTF? A CONDITIONAL 1st? If that's true Feaster needs to be fired. Please don't be true. Nobody that stupid should be running an NHL team.

We all must be over-reacting. Must be '13 1st + a condition on next years 1st or something - or at least I hope

Stajan or Tanguay for next captain.

So first Feaster almost cost us our 1st and and a good player then he brings in Mcgratten then he trades the Flames best player of all time for basicly two guys who can hold hockey sticks. ( I hope that in 15 years I'm posting again about Bartkowski being traded for nothing)

Of all things to get, you HAVE to guarantee that 1st. This is an important draft for the Flames. Yes, Iggy likely will sign, but still, don't take that chance. Unacceptable to put yourself in that position.

I continue to not understand why they have any interest in this 24 year old minor league defenseman. Why not just get a draft pick?

Such reminiscence of the Regehr trade. Have such high hopes, all these great names being listed in the proposals and initial rumours only to find out it's less than an ideal package. And then we find out it's the Flames giving up the 2nd round pick and not getting it.
If the trade is what it's reported, I'm all aboard the Fire Feaster train. But I just can't see it - like the Regehr trade.

Edmonton got a better return for Dustin "Pancakes" Penner than Calgary did for Jarome Iginla
let that one sink in a bit

Ya who in their right mind would defend this return as "something you should have expected" when you look at the historic returns for deadline rentals (link of a few) is beyond me. It's almost like some people are hardwired to play devil's advocate or just defend the team's braintrust no matter what. Baaaaa

At minimum the condition is that its a 2nd if he doesnt resign and a 1st if he does - surely.

Waiting for confirmation has historically meant 'see if butler and byron look better with the lights on' with this idiot calling the shots.
