Holy crap is Begin out there a lot. I can honestly see him being traded or a late pick as a depth addition on a contender.

If only we played as good on the road as we do at home.

When players score i'm usually reading or posting on here so I never actually noticed that before. I assumed he wasn't impressed with today's developments. Thanks

Backlund draws one. He's actually drawn about four tonight IMO, but they weren't called.
Kid is a keeper IMO.

That would be J. Staal, then Toews, then Backstrom, then Kessel.

The most he usually does is smile. He very rarely does some silly arm swoop. He's always been a guy that just smiles and points to the guy who got him the puck.

And Remember, Erik Johnson was a "can't miss" stud prospect.

Backlund should have knocked out Johnson's teeth with his stick there. When your covering the puck with your face, you can't blame the opposing players. Backlund was too nice.

Out of curiosity, would people say that Brodie's ceiling is somewhere in the Dan Boyle area?

That seems very high. Can't see Brodie playing for Team Canada at Olympics or being a top 10 defenseman in the league.

That's an awful lot of offense I just don't see in him. I see a nice 30-35 point second pairing guy comfortably who can maybe fill in for injuries up top. Which is great in my books considering where we picked him.

Iggy is a scratch and presumably as good as traded... Yet centre ice hasn't split open, revealing Satan and his minions who then torture the lower bowl spectators as upper level fans trample women and children in their mad dash to escape the horror.
I think we're gonna be okay.
