R.I.P. Flames. Trade will not improve us now or ever, we have established ourselves as one of the worst drafting teams in NHL history so our first overall picks will just be bust after bust afetr bust and the only negotiating tool we had in free agency won't be around so we won't even be a slight blip on the radar of anybody in this league.

All so Iginla just ends up another Sundin that loses loyalty and doesn't gain a cup regardless.

Probably get a hell of a lot more trading everyone else besides Iggy and Kipper. Still 3 months left to convince Iggy to sign or 3 months to figure out what to do with Iggy's rights if he's really decided not to come back. But to get crap back from a superstar - that's worse than crap itself! It's almost like trading Crosby for a Cervenka, Butler, and another low rank first rounder or a second rounder, would you feel happy with that deal?
