Sure sounds like Butler alright. I guess that Feaster wants us to tank if we're going to have a defense for of Butler's.

Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie 1m
This comes with usual "anything can happen" qualifier but multiple sources saying not to expect a Jarome Iginla trade tonight.

Yeah, Boston fans basically said that Bart is a 5/6 guy at best. They are surprised the rumoured return is so cheap.

Everyone complaining about Bartkowski is a moron. You guys probably haven't watched a second of this guy.

How about you guys sit back, take a deep breath, and think that maybe, just maybe, they know something about Bartkowski that we don't. Maybe he's the next Gio or Regehr... and maybe he is Butler. But let's find out for ourselves first.

This sure is an exciting game though. I don't think Iggy has played in a game with this much emotion in it for quite awhile. I'd think He'd be looking forward to it.

What? Boston was not in a position to demand they throw in a player that Calgary didn't want.

Bruins just signed him to a one-way deal yesterday. The Boston page I linked to posted their thoughts on the signing...

Yeah, this is a guy we want involved in a Jarome Iginla trade, Bruins fans don't even want him.
Oh frick, and he is on a one-way deal too?

What did he do in those 11 NHL games and 0 points to earn that?

I feel like crying. So sad it had to come to this. If you think about it we are trading our heart and soul of this team and keeping alot of the crap. This better mean rebuild and not re tooling as Feaster has said. I really have no faith left in Flames management and would be super surprised if they put that first round pick to good use.

From what Bruins fans are saying, he's an awful lot closer to Butler than he is to Gio or Reggie.

That's usually the kiss of death for me. So you better watch CGY-COL on NHL on TSN, on TSN2 now, on TSN after MTL-BOS. #staytuned

As soon as Iginla steps on the ice in Boston, he'll have better centers then he ever had in Calgary.

I'm really hoping the trade doesn't go through tonight and the price for Iginla increases over the course of the night as other teams make last minute desperation offers.
