I would also give full credit if Feaster was cunning enough to scratch Iginla tonight, not to protect him, but to drive up and create offers from other teams. Create a bidding war out of no-where, as teams think that there must be a legitimate deal on the table that they have to compete with.

18 points in 34 games with PC is pretty good for a rookie center for that league. I think if he is given time he could turn into something good for us but as you say it's way to early to judge. You can't say either way what kind of impact this kid is going to have but I don't hate the pick so far.

Hard to believe that the Flames go from asking for a 1st + top prospect + decent prospect to accepting 1st + Koko + Bartkowski.
Koko would have been what I consider a secondary prospect.

I was thinking the very same thing. It was weird not having Fleury. The circumstances were different - Fleury was traded because of the inequity between big market and small market teams, the difference between the American and Canadian dollar, etc. We simply had to trade Fleury because we would not have been able to afford him the next season. With Iggy, it's a different situation, but it is still going to be very weird not having him here anymore.
