Thanks to Button's terrible decision making, we nearly had Mike Peca to play with Savard instead of Iginla.
Button has no credibility.

I am tempering my expectations like crazy right now about the active prospects coming back in a deal...
I just hope whoever we get, it comes with a 1st and a 2nd round pick in 2013, or 1st round picks in both 2013 and 2014.

Because someone was a bad GM doesn't mean everything that they say is wrong. Don't get me wrong, Button was utter crap, but it doesn't mean he's always wrong by default.

As much as guys like King have much more control then they should day to day, a franchise changing move like this should have all involved given the implications.
You have to figure Wisebrod has his hands all over this too.
