Kohklachev's stats arent all that impressive... His first year with Windsor, decent. @nd year, decline... 7 points in 26 gamesin the KHL...
Hes also small... for a C... Not really impressed if its him and a late 1st and some plug...

Which would be very acceptable.
Not top tier but two very good prospects and a first.

If that's it, Flames make out extremely well.

Wow, I'm almost in tears. I was expecting this, even hoping for it (#FreeIginla), but now that it's actually happening...

Ugh. You know it's a bad trade when Craig Button is making fun of it.

http://blogs.windsorstar.com/2013/02...-scoring-list/
A Western Conference playoff spot remains an uphill climb for the Windsor Spitfires, but imagine what it would be like without Alex Khokhlachev.
The 19-year-old Khokhlachev has been with the team less than a month, but has piled up the points since returning from the Kontinental Hockey League to join the Spitfires, who face the Sarnia Sting tonight at the WFCU Centre (7 p.m., Sportsnet, live chat at windsorstar.com).
“I’ve said it for a while now that I don’t know if we would be in the situation we are in if we had Koko from day one,” Spitfires head coach Bob Boughner said.
In 15 games with the Spitfires, Khokhlachev has scored 13 times and has 25 points. That pushes his career total in parts of three seasons in Windsor to 72 goals and 170 points in 138 games.
“He’s a catalyst for our offence, the power play and our four-on-four play,” Boughner said.
With 170 points, Khokhlachev has joined some elite company. He’s now tied with former Sting star Nail Yakupov for fifth on the all-time Russian scoring list of players to perform in the Canadian Hockey League.

He didn't decline in Windsor:
Rookie - 76 pts in 67 games
2nd Year - 69 in 56 games
This Year - 48 in 29 games (was in the KHL for most of the year until Boston told him to come back to the OHL).

So instead of talking about this on the FAN, we have to listen to Everybody Loves Raymond rant on about college basketball?

His numbers look pretty damn good to me. What stands out most is 20 points in 18 playoff games as an 18 year old and 22 goals in 29 games this year.
He isn't going to address the Flames extreme lack of toughness and size though.

This is just like Feaster falling in love with useless players like Butler and Byron in the Regehr trade. Pointless 13th forward/7th defenceman. Not difference makers.
Just a terrible deal.
