No disrespect for pet owners, but I kinda feel like this is like putting down a pet. In the end you know it's the right thing, but right now that the trade's beckoning, it's really tough to imagine the Flames without Iginla.

While he made some good moves to bolster the line-up, he did not build that team.
I really think the guy that pulls the trigger on the Iggy deal will always be remembered for it.

I think koko will be a lot better then backlund. Read up on him and you will be excited.
Imo he extends the Nilsson legacy. Plus a 1st and maybe a conditional pick, plus caron.
For a month of iggy that is awesome
