^Mcnaughton said recently that they will loose LESS then they expected this past year so that is good?
I hope they give Robson a chance anyways, and with the bantam Draft and AB Cup right around the corner they would've been foolish to let them both go now. I hope he's on a one year contract to proove himself, I believe that Robson has had the most influence on the draft. Preston had little to no first hand knowledge of the bantam aged players, or his own players for that matter. Robson wants a coach by July 1.

Good to say Saskatoon is in fine playoff form as usual. I turn the game on Shaw TV and see Medicine Hat is up 3-0 with 7 minutes and change left in the first.

EDIT: Make it 4-0.

That team is a complete and total trainwreck and they are going to make an embarrassment of the league at the Memorial Cup. There is such little chance of the coaching staff keeping those players engaged over the next 6 weeks to not be a complete and total embarrassment.

Oh wow, Nichols with a two hander slash to Shinkaruk at the end of the Med Hat game, Saskatoon has completely fallen apart.

Edmonton has completely owned Kootenay in their two wins over them. 9-0 and 7-1.

Medicine Hat as a 12-3 GF-GA record against Saskatoon. That is just unacceptable for that team to be having such a lack of production.

Go Hitmen! This is a tough series that I hope they can wrap up at home on Thursday, otherwise it might completely beat them up for the 2nd round.

If things continue as they are, the 2nd round would look like Edmonton vs Medicine Hat and Calgary vs Red Deer.

When was the last time a Memorial Cup host team went out in the first round?

Shawinigan was out in the second round last year and ended up winning the memorial cup

Last host team I can remember to go out in the first round was the Regina Pats in 2001, lost to the Hitmen 4-2. The Pats ended up 3rd in the Memorial Cup that year.

Nice! If it's Calgary vs Red Deer I am going to all 7 games. Also, have fun practicing for 2 months Saskatoon!

Kelowna loses in OT for the third straight game. Man that team can't buy a break. Hoping they at least win tomorrow, in order to go see one more home game.

Kamloops loses a tight one in Victoria, still lead series 2-1 and should be ok.

Saskatoon...yikes. Good for the Tigers.

Congrats to the Hitmen on a 3-1 series lead. That said don't rule out the Broncos, they've been in every game and if they escape game 5 things could get interesting.

Here's to a Blazers - Hitmen WHL final. Would be tremendous.

I don't think any Hitmen fans are. Last night was the first win in Swift Current for the Hitmen this year, and SC took 3/4 in the season series.

I guess his teammate Matthew Pufahl didn't want to be left out of doing something stupid last night. Apparently Matthew Pufahl gave the Medicine Hat crowd the middle finger.

Josh Nicholls will be not be suspended for his baseball slash last night. I have to say that is a joke. Tonight's game has the potential for a blood bath.

The Nicholls slash was bad, but earlier in the period Nathan Burns of the Blades ran Tigers goalie Cam Lanigan. If the Tigers jump out to a big lead tonight (like last night), it could get really ugly.

Way to send a message Robinson, do anything you want at the end of the game kids. The league does not want Sask out in the first round, but c'mon.

I love the reason WHL gives for not giving a suspension to Josh Nicholls because as they put Hunter Shinkaruk "embellished". Does this video like Hunter Shinkaruk "embellished? Not great quality but the video starts around the 5 second mark. That was beyond dumb what the turd did.

I think I read somewhere that Nicholls has 1 assist and is a minus 4 in the series. Maybe the WHL is doing the Tigers a favour by keeping him in the lineup? Hopefully, the series ends tonight.
