Tavares wins it for the Islanders and Moulson gets the assist, 3-2 in regulation time. The Islanders are now tied for eighth place in the east with the Rangers.

Glad the Oilers are winning. Any time teams that are just ahead of us win, or just behind us win is good. Makes it more possible to get a one of Barkov, McKinnon, Drouin or Jones.

Wow. St. Louis should be feeling the pressure to make a move soon. How do you lose to Alberta?

The Penguins hang on for the 1-0 regulation win, their thirteenth straight victory!

So if St. Louis is playing like he is right now is he going to get snubbed yet again for the Olympics? He now sits only behind Olympic locks Crosby and Stamkos, and unlike Kunitz who's simply along for the ride playing with Crosby, he makes people around him better. The guy will have centered a Rocket Richard Trophy winner likely 4 times since the lockout after this season (1x Lecavalier, 3x Stamkos).

Jets win again! 4-1 vs the Canes. Sure hope the rumor that Jacob Trouba is seriously considering turning pro is true. Saw him for team USA at the World Juniors. He has the potential to be the next Scott Stevens.

St. Louis plays right wing, not centre.

Man, and I thought Oilers fans overrated their prospects.

Go read up on him, I won't call him Scott Stevens by any means but he's only improved off last year.

Oops, should have said centered by a Rocket Richard winner.

He's going to be 38, and could easily drop off hugely between now and the Olympics but if he's playing like he is I think he deserves to try and grab that Gold to finish off his trophy case. And since the projected roster already has about 30 different centers looking like they could make it, would probably be a good idea to have a motivated winger playing his actual position.

Although, Stamkos and St. Louis aren't exactly defensive stalwarts together.

I wouldn't have any problem with St. Louis on the team if he's playing like this. If nothing else, he has the chemistry with Stamkos.

Current shot count in the CBJ / VAN game is 25-6 for the Canucks. Still 0-0. Bobrovsky turned on God mode about a month ago, playing out of his mind.

4 dives for Burrows in 1 shift, even the Sportsnet staff was pointing it out, can't believe the refs didn't call him on it.

I must say, I'm blown away by the fact that all 4 Canadian teams in the East are likely going to be in the playoffs this year.

Lots of games left I guess, but they are all in good position right now.

I hate Vancouver.

Just when you think they might be slipping, they pull a win streak out of their arses and completely eliminate the possibility of them maybe faltering and missing the playoffs.
