Got a stack of Airmiles and I want to "purchase" a couple things but I've never done it before. Of course, their website doesn't really answer and questions I might have and the stupid phone number is an endless circle of "push 1, push 2, buckle shoe". So, where to turn? Why, a hockey message board of course.

Question 1: Is there a place, like an Airmiles store, that I can go get the stuff?

Question 2: If not, and I do have to "buy" online, do I pay for shipping?

Question 3: Does it really take three-four weeks for shipping? Or are they just saying that so I don't complain and it'll probably be here in a week?

Question 4: Is it possible to return or exchange stuff? I doubt it, but might as well ask.

Question 5: Do you think this phone has a real answering machine with a flashing light and a button I just push and it plays my messages out loud? I don't want one of those systems where I have to punch in numbers on the handset or anything like that.

Thanks for the help, if I get any. If not, thanks for nothing.

Doesn't Safeway have some kind of "store" beside the exits? I thought I remembered seeing that on my way out of there a while ago.

we ordered our first thing ever from airmiles a few weeks ago....a john deere riding tractor with trailer attachment for the 3 year old

I think the wife saw it in a catalogue and ordered it by phone

I'm almost positive we didn't pay shipping, and the 2 parts were shipped separately and each arrived MUCH SOONER than they told us...within about 10 days. both arrived by some fancy delivery service...not FEDEX but one of those...the nice man actually tried very hard to deliver me 2 John Deere tractors (both of these boxes were HUUUGE) and I had to convince him that one wasn't mine (it turned out it was for someone with a very similar address)

Shipping is free.

I ordered a pressure washer and it was at my front door in 4 days.

You can't return anything, but if it is defective you can sometimes get them to exchange it (if you fight a little), or they will make you go through the manufacturer to fix it.

I've gotten gift certificates but for some reason I though shipping is free. I have talked to people to when I ordered the GC's. You mean you don't want to phone at all if you have to push any button? Push zero.

Why can't you phone this Phone: 1-888-AIR-MILES (1-888-247-6453)

your link doesn't work.
I tried pushing zero -- it was an invalid response. The only way to get a person on the line was to just sit there and not push any buttons, which I found out by accident after trying every possible combination.

And in the end -- it's free shipping.

Hey thanks man. Even with that long list it still doesn't say "answering machine". It must have one though with all those lights and bells, somewhere on it must be a simple answering machine

Voice Mail Waiting Indication - To activate the Caller ID and/or VoiceMail features, you must subscribe through your local telephone company.

It's in the info section, no answering machine, must order callwaiting from phone company.
