[QUOTE=sun;4148317]Man, it's a good feeling when you find a product that you like so much, it's not even a choice anymore.
Recently: Charmin Extra Strong toilet paper.
The traction on this product is unheard of. Like crap to a wool blanket. Good one.

What are you even talking about? Since when is manufacturing see through yoga pants "highly compromised" geeeeeeeeeez
I'm a total Bauer/Nike slut for hockey gear. I can't get away from it for some reason, it's well priced and seriously comfortable for me. I also only use Easton sticks, they're in my head at this point. The second I pick up anything else I can't shoot.
Underarmour workout gear. Love the feel.
Burton snowboard gear. Been riding over 25 years, so that won't change anytime soon. I look like a walking billboard.
Skidoo (BRP) sleds. Just sold my 2006 to a fellow CP'er, and it was a poster machine for reliability. 5000k and all I changed was a few belts, plug wires and ski bushings.
Air Canada wherever I can. Once you hit the top tier it's a whole different experience in service.
Old spice fiji deodorant.
I used to be pretty loyal to Asics but either my feet changed or the shoe changed over the last 2 years. I was like a lot of guy here that would just buy them off the rack, but now they tear my feet up. Went to mizuno last year.

not so much brand loyalty as brand avoidance now. Too many Nike shoes have broke in the same place for me, so I avoid Nike shoes all the time.
Imitation corn flakes really got me one time, so generally i only buy kellogs now.
Mostly I'll buy the best deal unless the brand has lost my trust.

I think there's a difference between brand loyalty and buying the same brand.
I think you can buy other brands while remaining brand loyal.
For example. I buy Old Spice deodarant. I don't feel loyal to Old Spice, but theirs is the product in used to so I keep buying it. Same goes for Proenamel Toothlaste, No Name bacon & grapefruit juice.
I'm brand loyal to Coca-Cola. It makes me think of my grandfather and spending time at my grandparents as a kid. I will buy Pepsi or other colas (if there's no option, or I'm travelling and there's a brand I never heard of before I'll give it a shot).
I'm brand loyal to Russel Stovers chocolates, I won't buy anything else unless there is no other option, although I will buy Quality Street to have. Around Christmas.
Gagnong peppermints (same reasons as the previous two brands reminds me of my grandparents). The fact there's quality there too only helps my buying decisions.
I will buy brands that are quality and I try to stick to Nova Scotia companies for the arbitrary reason I'm from and live there. So, Stanfield's Underwear, Alexander Keith' s beer, for example. Both companies are probably owned by a big multinational now (Keith's is at least) but they're good success stories.
If I'm indifferent and you offer me perks I'll go out of my way to get the perk. Esso for gas due to Aeroplan, SuperStore for groceries due to PC Points. I generally pick up necessities and corner store stuff from Shoppers due to Optimum Points. Although I've started collecting AirMiles too.
I feel like brand loyalty is taking the side of the company. If you said Gillette deodarant is better than Old Spice I'd say "cool maybe I'll try it Old Spice tends to work well for me". If you said "Pot of Gold chocolates are better than Russel Stovers" I'd think you had some sort of mental disorder or you'd never had Russel Stovers before. I'd explain why you're wrong.
Brand loyalty is the emotional attachment. Good shopping is the practical repurchasing.

I used to have a lot of brand loyalty to Nike, Ford, CCM, Coke, Sony, HP, Callaway Golf,
But really now, I am just buying what has the best value for me now. I supposed I tend to buy Canon camera equipment first and iOS products, but that is more about being invested in that technology (costs too much to change).

As a guy who bases what I purchase more or less on price as I have chosen a life of backpacking, and clothing seems to come and go quite frequently.
Ive become loyal to Helly Hanson for my jackets (light weight, warm). I only buy them when they are 50% off though.
I also think Nike has won my loyalty when it comes to shoes. I purchased a pair of Nikes in November 2011, and still wear them every day. I have been wearing these shoes while walking 10-30km almost every day since.

I would say the most annoying adult cases of smug brand loyalty has to go to camera users. Man, those guys sound like kids when they start going at eachother. Like ffs, don't go to battle for multi-million dollar companies. Just buy what suits you and leave it at that.

Have to say I am well impressed with my first pair of Blundstone boots, three years without a resole, definatly would recomend them, doesn't seem likely I will buy another pair the way these are wearing.

Seriously? Camera users don't come close to cellphones. The brand loyalty/smugness from all sides I find most annoying.

Camera loyalty tends to get vicious because there is so little difference in actual quality that the decision really does come down to personal preference. And most people with a brain in their heads know that Nikon is superior to all others.
I wouldn't say that I'm seriously loyal to many brands, but there are definitely certain brands I prefer over others.
-Ford for vehicles (although right now I own a Dodge and a Chevy)
-Dell for computers (yes, I know computer snobs hate them but I've owned 5 of them and never had an issue)
-K2 Skis, Marker Bindings, and Salomon boots
-Foremost chocolate milk
-Panasonic electronics (although almost everything in my house right now is Sony)
-Diet Dr. Pepper for drink of choice

You'd be totally wrong on that. Nikon or Canon has been going on a lot longer then iOS vs Android.

It appears that my only true brand loyalty lies with Nikon, only when it comes to their DSLR's and Nikkor lenses.
From shooting film back in the day and now on my 3rd (and final) Nikon DSLR since 2006
I can't ever see swapping to Canon for any reason, though their scanners, fax machines, calculators and photocopiers are top notch.
For those looking to upgrade to either brand, both DSLR's produce quality images.

I suppose that my only real brand loyalty would be with the company that my parents and many people in my family work(ed) for (although I have yet to actually buy any of their products). May as well not bite the hand that feeds!

Holy smokes guys. Really? Me saying I was using Apple products before they were poplular is somehow me stroking my ego? Like I said I didn't want to be the guy that brings up Apple to sidetrack the thread because as soon as you mention apple the haters come out of the woodwork.
On a side note I simply don't understand the Apple haters. I can understand Microsoft because you are pretty well forced to use their operating system if you own a PC but nobody is forcing anyone to purchase and own Apple products.
